The password is the most convenient way to share access with your guests. You can create different types of password access: Custom Passwords, Limited-Time Passwords, One-Time Passwords, and Dynamic Passwords.

When paired with an Aqara Thread-enabled Matter Hub (such as the M3), the U300 supports smart home automation and remote unlocking. Thanks to the Matter-over-Thread protocol, it is also compatible with third-party ecosystems, including Google Home, Alexa, IFTTT, and Samsung SmartThings. This flexibility enables seamless integration into various smart home setups, enhancing automation and convenience. (After adding the door lock to the Aqara Home app, only the administrator's fingerprint or password can reset the door lock.)

It has a multi-layered protection system. You will receive an alarm if multiple false entry attempts are detected. Additionally, there are features such as a low battery alarm, built-in doorbell, wrong password alarm, abnormal activity alarm, anti-prying alarm, and visual intercom.
